The Idea:

Modern Oats has been around for 10 years giving their customers a wide range of flavors derived from unique hand picked fruit, grains and natural sweeteners. The owners found a newly discovered farming process to produce naturally organic oats. Along with the rollout of these organic oats all new ingredients were added to reduce the sugar levels and increase the levels of organic protein. They had plans to start marketing their new flavors, blueberry coconut, apple cinnamon ginger and strawberry banana pomegranate at  three upcoming trade show events to get a buzz around the new recipe and ingredients. The mission was to bring awareness to buyers and hospitality owners not to panic they wen organic.

The Solution:

Working with the two owners and the marketing team we established our target consumer and decide to embrace the organic environment in new packaging and label displays.  A. new lighter color and brighter display of fruit and oats highlighting the organic quality and sugar percentage making a clear differentiation from their no organic product line. Product photography was reshot of the new packaging for a new social campaign. A new Shopify e-commerce platform was built with interactive recipes and ingredients pages which resulted in a 15% increase in overall sales. The new branding was well received winning the best upcoming product at Expo West 2018 the largest food and trade show in the united states.
