Brand Strategy / Web Development

The Idea:

MOCAFE is a distributor of concentrated coffee, chocolate and smoothie mix. For years they have been selling their product exclusively on Amazon. MOCAE wanted to move away from the platform with out hurting their bottom line. After various strategy meetings with them we deiced to build two new websites to re-rout their traffic with out disturbing there Amazon marketplace work flow. Up until now their website was run by a 3rd party Amazon distribution company. The new strategy was to offer a newly designed and updated site. Offering more detailed information of all of their products not listed on their amazon store and elevate some stories and recipes provided by consumers.

The Solution:

A new website and brand environment was presented to MOCAFE. Providing more insight to the ingredients and associated recipes. A custom WordPress theme was developed to provided the right look and feel. Using Woo Commerce a custom interface was created to provide tabbed detailed information on each product including nutrition value, Ingredients and calorie counts.

The buttons were replaced and and rerouted for each product to their Amazon store so that Amazon would handle the processing. Through the WordPress blogging interface a separate category for recipes added major SEO value to their new site and brought a higher user retention rate. Which means consumers stayed on the site almost 3 times longer than before.
